How to install Lelle Magnetic Wall Decal

För att få bästa möjliga resultat med din magnetiska väggdekal är det viktigt att kontrollera vilken typ av vägg du har. Vissa ytor gör att dekalen inte fäster som den ska - och det vill vi såklart undvika! Dekalen fungerar bäst på släta, rena och torra ytor utan specialfärg eller struktur.

Fästförmågan kan variera beroende på vilken typ av väggfärg som används. Vissa färger innehåller tillsatser som gör ytan smuts-, vatten- eller fettavvisande, vilket också påverkar hur bra en dekal fäster. Det gäller även många matta väggfärger.

Lelle magnetisk väggdekal fäster sämre på:

  • Ojämna eller strukturerade väggar - som exempelvis vissa betongväggar


    Tapetserade väggar


    Nymålade, dåligt målade eller skadade väggar
    Vänta minst 30 dagar innan du fäster en dekal på en nymålad vägg. Undvik även ytor där färgen är sprucken, flagnar eller sitter löst. Detta kan göra att dekalen inte fäster ordentligt eller trillar ner.

  • Väggar målade med:
    - Vatten- eller fläckavvisande färger
    - Väggfärger med smutsavvisande egenskaper
    - Kalkfärger
    - Miljövänliga färger med låg VOC-halt
    - Luftrenande färger


    Några exempel på färgtyper/märken som kan vara svårare att fästa på:

    - Färg med mycket matt finish med smutsavvisande egenskaper (som tex. Jotun Lady Pure Color)

    - Miljömärkta färger med låg VOC-halt (som tex. Beckers Elegant / Mood Care Wall)

Important things to know before applying your magnetic wall decal

  • Good to know:

    • For best results, it is important that the surface you are attaching the decal to is clean, dry, smooth and in good condition.
    • Wall decals are designed to be attached to walls, windows, mirrors, doors or furniture.
    • However, the adhesive part may not work on all surfaces.
    • Do not attach magnets immediately after application. Please wait 48 hours or longer until the decal is firmly attached to the wall.
    • Chalk pens or crayons may leave faint marks on the decal over time.
    • Due to different lighting conditions, the colors on the decal may appear slightly different in reality than in the picture.
    • Lelle is not responsible for damage to walls or other surfaces that occurs when applying or removing the decal.

Hur du applicerar din magnetiska väggdekal

  • Step 1 - Prepare the surface

    Start by ensuring that your wall is completely clean, dry and smooth. Wipe the surface with a dry cloth to remove any dust or dirt that may affect adhesion.

    If you need to wash the walls, wait at least 72 hours before applying the wall decal - as the decal will not stick to damp walls.

    Pre-application tip: Roll out and lay the decal flat on the floor. Weigh down the corners with heavy objects to allow the decal to "relax" in its extended position. This makes application easier.

  • Step 2 - Remove the protective film and apply

    Carefully peel off the plastic film from one corner of the decal. Place the adhesive side against the wall and continue applying upwards while slowly peeling off the film. Smooth the decal against the wall, preferably using a flat tool, such as a credit card or book, to eliminate air bubbles as you go.

    The more you press, the better the decal sticks to the wall.

  • Step 3 - Make sure it is seated properly

    After applying the entire decal, gently smooth its surface with your hand or a soft cloth to ensure it is firmly attached to the wall. If any air bubbles remain, gently press them towards the nearest edge for a smooth finish.

    Save the packaging and protective film, so you have safe storage if you need to move the decal to another location or room.

Removing the decal

To remove the decal, gently and slowly pull it away from the surface. For even easier removal, you can use a hair dryer to blow hot air while slowly loosening the edges. Do this as slowly as possible without any sudden movements. If any residue remains, wipe it off with a warm, damp cloth.

Cover the sticky side of the removed decal with the included protective film that was originally attached. Place it back in the original tube to protect it from dirt and ensure it lasts for future use.

- Please note that Lelle cannot guarantee that the decal will continue to stick if it is removed and moved to another wall, as this weakens the adhesive surface.
- We cannot guarantee that the paint on the wall will not be damaged when removing the decal.

Please note:

- Wall decals are designed to be attached to walls, windows, mirrors, doors or furniture.

- However, the adhesive part may not work on all surfaces.

- It is not recommended to apply the decal to wallpaper, textured, newly painted or poorly painted walls.

- Over time, chalk pens or crayons can leave marks on the decal.

- Due to different lighting conditions, the decal may look slightly different than in the picture.
